FFC recently moved into a new state-of-the-art facility. Current capabilities include rapid fuel cell prototyping and extensive fuel cell testing. We can fabricate planar cells ranging from 2 cm2 to 100 cm2 in square or disk geometries. Smaller cells are used to develop improved component designs.
Large cells are used to demonstrate the manufacturability and performance of commercial size cells. Through contracts with leading fuel cell manufacturing companies the company has demonstrated low volume manufacturability of the commercial size cells.
FFC has developed broad scale fuel cell testing capabilities. We have over 25 test stations capable of testing cells of various sizes on different fuels and operating conditions. Current fuels being tested include diesel, gasoline, propane, butane, natural gas, methane, and hydrogen.
