Franklin Fuel Cells, Inc. Names Bernie Wojcik Director of Finance and Corporate Controller

Financial Veteran Joins Growing Fuel Cell Company to Lead All Finance & Accounting Functions

Malvern, PA - May 25, 2006 - Franklin Fuel Cells, Inc., an early stage company that is commercializing a unique, patented solid oxide fuel cell technology, today announced that Bernie Wojcik has joined the company as director of finance and corporate controller, reporting to the CEO. In this capacity, Wojcik will oversee all accounting, financial reporting and controls, planning and analysis, tax, treasury, and investor relations for the company.

A 15-year veteran of public accounting and high-tech companies, Wojcik most recently served as vice president and corporate controller of Axeda Systems Inc. (nka ITA Holdings, Inc.), a NASDAQ-traded enterprise software and services company. At Axeda, Wojcik’s responsibilities included broad finance, accounting and operational functions, including financing, SEC and financial reporting, international operations, and mergers and acquisitions, among other duties. Prior to Axeda, Wojcik was a supervising senior in the high-tech assurance services unit of KPMG LLP, gaining valuable IPO and technology company experience. “We are excited to have Bernie as a member of our team. Wojcik earned his bachelor’s of science degree in accounting from Kutztown University, and is a licensed certified public accountant. He is also a member of the American and Pennsylvania Institutes of CPA’s, the Institute of Management Accountants and Financial Executives International.
