John P. Law
Director, President & CEO
John P. Law, Franklin Fuel Cells' President and Chief Executive Officer, has over 20 years of management and operational expertise in the technology, power and distributed generation industries. An energetic leader, Mr. Law joined Franklin Fuel Cells in October 2004 to help accelerate the commercialization of the company's innovative technology.
Mr. Law's knowledge of the distributed generation industry was gained through progressive positions with several alternative energy firms. Most recently, Mr. Law served as Vice President of Operations and Product Development for MTI Micro Fuel Cells, based in Albany, NY where he managed product development, product management, systems engineering, prototype manufacturing, information technology and facilities.
Prior to joining MTI, Mr. Law was Director of Transportation at Plug Power, Inc., a developer and manufacturer of fuel cell systems, and was responsible for developing fuel cell technology and business relationships for transportation applications. His responsibilities included commercial/business development of new projects or programs, project management, technical coordination of research and development, design, product integration, subcontractor management, manufacturing and customer service and support.
Mr. Law began his career with General Electric, serving in senior management positions in the Power Systems Division. While at GE, Mr. Law was responsible for global modification and upgrades to existing power plants, leading a team of project managers responsible for new power plant projects in Asia. Mr. Law also managed various new power plant construction projects.
Mr. Law holds a Bachelor of Science Degree in Electrical Engineering from Rochester Institute of Technology and an MBA in General Management from Union College. Mr. Law also earned an Associate Degree in Electro Mechanical Technology from the State University of New York. In addition to his academic training, Mr. Law is certified as both a ISO 9000 Internal Auditor and Six Sigma Quality Trainer, as well as having attending various GE Management Courses and being the recipient of GE Management Awards in 1991, 1993, 1994, 1995, 1996, and 1997.

Eduardo Paz
Director, Technical Programs
Eduardo Paz brings a disciplined and meticulous approach to technology development. He is a leading authority on solid oxide fuel cells having co-authored several publications and presented at numerous industry conferences.
As Director, Technical Programs, for Franklin Fuel Cells, Mr. Paz leads the company's development activities, managing a $4 million program over the past two years that has involved major projects with outside suppliers. With eleven years of engineering experience and a strong background in leading technology and product development teams in the power generation industry, Mr. Paz has been instrumental in the scale up design and fabrication of Franklin's proprietary Solid Oxide Fuel Cell technology. He recently managed the design and construction of the company's state of the art laboratory facility in Malvern, Pennsylvania.
Prior to his arrival at Franklin Fuel Cells, Mr. Paz spent two years at MTI Micro Fuel Cells Inc., a company involved in commercializing direct methanol micro fuel cells. As a founding member of the company, he led the commercial product development effort and managed a $9 million dollar quality and performance growth program with key suppliers. While at MTI, Mr. Paz championed the use of Six Sigma methods in the laboratory and engineering work and coordinated on-site training of the entire technical staff in statistics and design of experimental techniques.
In addition to his Six Sigma Quality Black Belt certification, Mr. Paz is a graduate of General Electric's Edison Engineering Program. He spent seven years with GE Power Systems where he led multidisciplinary engineering and scientific teams for several initiatives, including the design of critical gas turbine hot gas path components.
Mr. Paz earned a Master degree in Mechanical Engineering from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute and a Bachelor degree in Mechanical Engineering as well as a Bachelor of Arts in Economics, both from Florida International University.

Bernie Wojcik
Director, Finance & Corporate Controller
A 15-year veteran of public accounting and high-tech companies, Bernie Wojcik joined the Franklin team after spending the past six years with Axeda Systems Inc., a leading NASDAQ-traded software and services company. He was promoted to Vice President and Corporate Controller in 2004 after serving as assistant corporate controller. His business responsibilities included broad finance, operational and accounting functions including financing, cash management, SEC and financial reporting, tax and international operations spanning the U.S., Europe, and Asia. While at Axeda, Bernie was a key member of a finance team that raised over $80 million through business divestitures, and over $10 million in private investment, in addition to acquiring businesses valued at more than $40 million.
Before Axeda, Bernie was a senior supervisor of assurance services at KPMG LLP in Philadelphia. In the ICE practice, he managed financial statement audits of high-tech companies, gaining important IPO leadership, M&A, and technology company experience.
Mr. Wojcik earned his B.S.B.A. in Accounting from Kutztown University and is a licensed CPA. He has been a member of the American and Pennsylvania Institutes of CPAs since 1994, of the Institute of Management Accountants since 1995, and of Financial Executives International since 2001.
